Share Your Knowledge or Skills

I’m excited to invite passionate individuals to come and share their skills with our Wild Steps community.

At Mindful Wild Steps, I believe that learning from others is a powerful way to inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence in young minds. Every new skill, story or hands-on experience helps to broaden their world and deepen their love of learning.

Why Share with Us?

  • You’ll make a lasting impact - When you share your skills with our kids, you help spark curiosity, creativity and a deeper connection to the natural world.

  • Your skills are welcomed and valued - We embrace all kinds of learning. Whether it is bushcraft, weaving, storytelling, tool use, cooking, natural dyeing or something else entirely, there is room for it here. You do not need to run a polished workshop. Simple sharing in a relaxed space is perfect.

  • It helps grow a connected community - Our Mindful Wild Steps community is built on connection. When you come and share your knowledge or a skill, you are helping to keep that community rich, diverse and full of learning for the next generation.

How You Can Contribute:

  • Share a skill or passion - Whether it is a practical skill, creative art, hands-on craft, life skill, story or tradition, we welcome a wide range of offerings to share with the children.

  • Lead an activity or session - You are welcome to run a small workshop or simply share in an informal way. This is a relaxed space where simple, hands-on learning is valued.

Together, we can help spark curiosity, creativity and confidence in the next generation.

If you're interested in joining our journey, I'd love to hear from you!

A few things to know:

Our guest skill-sharing is always informal and relaxed. We welcome people who are happy to simply share something they love with our group. You do not need to have formal training or qualifications.

Parents attend all sessions with their children, and our facilitators are always present. You would never be responsible for managing children alone.

This is a community-based offering and is usually run on a volunteer basis or with a small fee if needed. We simply love giving others the chance to pass on their skills to the next generation in a warm and welcoming space.
