Meet Me

  • Jaya Rose Fox

I’m Jaya, a nature-loving mum of four wildlings aged 2 to 14 and the founder of Mindful Wild Steps. For the past three years, I’ve been creating spaces where families can connect—with nature, with community, and with themselves.

With a background as a Holistic Health Practitioner and an Introduction to Forest School Certificate (soon to be followed by my Forest School Level 3 Certificate), I’m passionate about blending holistic health, outdoor learning, and exploration. Living with ADHD myself has also taught me the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive.

I’ve been leading outdoor learning sessions that inspire curiosity and foster a love for the natural world for 3 years now. Currently, I’m studying Applied Developmental Psychology to deepen my understanding of child development and mental health and plan to pursue a counselling degree to offer nature-based support for children.

At Mindful Wild Steps, I live by the belief that through nature, we heal; through connection, we grow. I’m so grateful to walk this journey with the incredible families who make up our community—it’s been an amazing three years, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

    Founding Facilitator

Building Something Beautiful, Together

I’ve always believed in giving back where I can.

Whether it’s sponsoring a family, raising funds for a cause, or simply creating space for others to connect.

Now I’m dreaming a little bigger.

I’m hoping to bring a yurt to life at Mindful Wild Steps. A warm, welcoming space where families can gather, kids can learn and play, and one day, a place I’ll offer counselling too.

Somewhere to share stories, create, connect, and belong.

If you’d like to be part of it—through donating, sharing, or simply holding the vision—I’d be so grateful.
