Laminate Frames
Laminate frames are a beautiful way to preserve small nature treasures and turn them into hanging decorations. Using a simple cardboard frame and clear laminating sheets, children can create their own nature artwork to display at home.
Each frame becomes a snapshot of a moment in time, capturing leaves, flowers, grasses, feathers, and other treasures discovered during an adventure.

You'll Need
• Cardboard or thick card
• Laminating sheets or self-adhesive laminating pouches
• Leaves, flowers, grasses, feathers, or other nature treasures
• Scissors
• Hole punch
• String or ribbon
How To
Cut a frame shape from cardboard, leaving an opening in the centre.
Attach a piece of clear laminate to the back of the frame so the sticky side faces into the opening.
Invite children to arrange their nature treasures within the frame.
Once the design is complete, carefully place another piece of clear laminate over the top to seal everything inside.
Trim away any excess laminate if needed.
Use a hole punch to create a hole at the top of the frame.
Thread string or ribbon through the hole and tie securely.
Hang the finished frame in a window, play space, or somewhere special to enjoy.
