At Mindful Wild Steps, we spend a lot of time encouraging people to connect with the world around them through their senses.
Sensory experiences are part of everyday life. They can influence how we focus, unwind, create, think, process information, navigate challenges, and connect with ourselves and our environment.
Fidget Foxes were created as a way to bring some of those sensory experiences into everyday life.
Combining weight, movement, texture, sound and tactile features, each fox offers a unique sensory experience in a handmade companion designed to be explored, held and enjoyed.
Meet the Foxes
The Mindful Wild Steps Fidget Foxes come in three sizes: Pocket, Mini and Maxi. Every fox is completely unique, with its own colours, name, birthday and crystal, while each size offers its own combination of sensory features.
Maxi Fidget Fox
The Maxi is the biggest fox in the family and offers the widest range of sensory experiences.
It has a weighted tummy and weighted feet, with the foot balls able to roll up and down through the legs. It also includes crinkly ears, a push button in one paw, a rocker switch in the other, a clicker button nose, a long, soft sensory tail, and floppy arms and legs that love to be wiggled and fidgeted with.
If you enjoy lots of different textures, movement and things to fiddle with, the Maxi has the most to explore.
Mini Fidget Fox
The Mini is the perfect in-between size, offering a little bit of everything while still being easy to take with you.
It features a weighted tummy, weighted feet with balls that roll through the legs, crinkly ears, a tummy rocker switch, a soft sensory tail, and floppy arms and legs that move freely while you're holding it.
It's a lovely all-round companion for anyone who enjoys a mix of different sensory features.
Pocket Fidget Fox
The Pocket may be the smallest fox, but it's still full of personality.
Designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, it features a weighted tummy, a tummy rocker switch, crinkly ears and a soft sensory tail. Its compact size makes it easy to pop into a pocket, bag or keep nearby on your desk, so your little fox is always close by when you need it.
A Little Note
Every Fidget Fox is handmade by me, from start to finish.
I'm always refining little details and taking the time to source natural, sustainable and thoughtfully chosen materials wherever I can. It's a slow process, but one I really enjoy.
When a fox is ready to find its new home, it'll be listed here on the website and available for adoption.
